What is Carlyle Place at Home?
Carlyle Place at Home is a membership program for seniors that coordinates and pays for a package of services, providing support as they age in their own homes.

What are the benefits to entering into a long-term, at-home care agreement?
The main benefit is that you can remain in your own home for as long as possible and maintain your current, active lifestyle. The membership investment gives you the opportunity to prepay for services at current rates and protect financial assets. Also, you’ll enjoy peace of mind that you’ll receive care and high quality services when they are needed. Your care is ensured and your assets are protected. You’ll rest easy knowing the burden of care has been lifted from your children and family.

What kind of services are offered?
We have a full menu of services but some of our most-requested include light housekeeping, in-home meal preparation, a home safety inspection, 24-hour emergency response pendant, personal shopping and errand running, and limited transportation to medical and other appointments. Best of all, you’ll be developing a personal relationship with a Personal Care Coordinator providing you with not only companionship but expertise and support.

What if I already have a long-term care insurance policy?
Many seniors are able to use their insurance policies to offset the costs of their initial membership investment and monthly fee. One of our representatives can offer guidance on how to make the most of the financial assets you already have.

What are the financial advantages?
Carlyle Place at Home is designed to protect your financial assets from the uncertainties and fluctuations of rising healthcare costs. Our flexible pricing options allow you to select a plan that works for you and your financial picture. Carlyle Place gives you a letter stating the amount that will be tax deductible.

What if I'm no longer able to stay in my home?
Our personal care coordinator is available to sit down with you, your family and your physician to determine the level of care that you will need. During what can be a difficult and emotional process, you will benefit from having an established personal relationship that not only knows you, but knows the community and health care centers of Carlyle Place as well as our partnering communities. The main priority is to ensure that you receive compassionate, dignified, quality care.

What are the costs involved? How is the monthly fee determined?
You’ll first pay an initial one-time membership fee based on your age at the time of enrollment. Then, you’ll continue to pay an affordable monthly membership fee. Choose from one of three tiered packages. If you don’t see the right one for you, our consultants are available to customize a more appropriate approach for your particular situation.
